My friend Maggie gave me a flexible rubber block for carving and printing. Before I did that I used one side for printing colored rectangles using the left over oils on my palette. ' NIGHT SOUNDS' ( a previous post) shows a painting developed over these simple color blocks.
Here are two more; just the right size for some elaborate small frames I've hoarded over the years. You'll notice they're both different in title and watercolor drawing.
In order of application: oil paint, watercolor pencil, watercolor, gold.
