LAUGHING ROSE

 I LOOK at animation art and the creation of character design on some of the blogs I follow. First of all, I'm struck by the amazing palettes that comprise some of the backgrounds. But I love the way the artists (and there are hundreds of them at a time working on a movie) stylize humans and animals .  When I saw this rose at twilight in my living room, I saw a laughing goblin/elf. He's looking right, in profile and has rosy cheeks and a big ear? I hope you'll see it, too.
