IF "Tribute"

Someone's gonna get a lot of love.
Corel Painter on my day off.

Greyhounds are soft.....

...so's this t-shirt.    I had it printed here.

Soft grey and black on soft cotton.

Genie Go Bye-Bye.....

"THREE WISHES"
is going to a new home near Washington, D.C.

It sold from its exhibition
at
The Key West Art Center
as part of the
Associate Members' Show.

Oil on panel.
Here's a closer look:

I've always liked
the three fingers leading into
the black and white stripes
on his turban.

The imari teapot
would be one of my choices for sanctuary
were I a jinn.

It's a date....

Every day,
I loosen up and greet the morning
with a fresh sign by the studio door.
I use a big, chisel tip Sharpie on
clay-coated paper.

Here's today's
("May the 4th be with you...")
above my best-seller,
"Yellow Straw."

More lettering on a half-dozen
of the same print for a Sarasota client's gallery.

A pleasant, busy Saturday.

LITTLE SWIMMER

A SMALL
oil painting on a Ampersand panel.
For my b-day show in June.

A note on the face:

I kept rubbing out the face
then asked aloud,
"Where's the light source?"

A flick of white started the final visage of the mermaid.
Good.

COOL CAT

WHEN
one's studio is next to a screen printing operation,
ONE
thinks of doing t-shirt graphics.
ONE
idea here is to put a goldfish in the cat's tummy.

I like the horizontal marks for the "E"'s and tail.

Sharpie marker on paper.
