MOONLIGHT BAY

This painting gets the most attention
in the Simonton Street studio.
Our greyhounds used to groom one another around the ears.

"LAST LAUGH"

"LAST LAUGH"
has gone of with a Ms. Keys
to a new wall in a new house
which she designed.
Dream client; so much fun.
It was fun to take time to
walk her to her car.

Oil on panel; 16 x 20.

TODAY

Back in the studio
after my 2 day break.
A nice day as my commission,
MAGIC GARDEN
has pleased the client.

Oil on Ampersand panel.
16 x 20 inches.

I painted happily the rest of the day.
When I squeeze out oils, I use the remainder
on my palette to start new paintings.
I'm working on 3 now, as you shall see.

"STORY TIME"

"STORY TIME"
is watercolor over collage
of papers with silver leaf.
The "silver" is really
aluminum to avoid oxidation.

The moon is listening, too.

Simonton Street, Key West.

"KISSES" close up....

Here's a better look at
one of the frames I've been
painting and waxing
This one for "KISSES."

Acrylic and paste wax over injected plastic.

Now it looks like weighty bronze.

CUDJOE PIRATES!!!

Just in time for their anniversary.

A hand-finished frame
around the finished oil on collage.
About 16 inches square.

Letter forms in the speedy landscape!

"HEAVEN"

Waiting today for a new client
at the studio
I taped off a rectangle
on Arches watercolor paper
and doodled some hounds
with all the tennis balls they could handle.
And that's watercolor on top of acrylic gesso.

"BUD"

I REDUCED
one of my paintings to its
simplest line form
and printed an edition of 25 prints.
Added various collage stripes along one side
and
a little colored pencil.
I know so many veterinarians now!

MOON DOGGIE

'MOON DOGGIE'

He's listening to the night sounds.

An Expedition...

These guys wade into tall grass and new territory. But there is confidence in numbers

A tiny little acrylic/watercolor 'bout 3 by 5 inches. SOLD

And that makes four...

Our greyhound hoards his toys in one corner of the living room. This is one new work and these have been very popular.

He doesn't like tennis balls but there's Ducky, one-armed monkey, dead mouse, etc.
