FINISHED
this little jester yester.'
I kept fighting the surface
and finally glazed the image
with a mixture of titanium white
and coarse transparent gesso.
Before that dried I went right in with
a line drawing of gouache.
Pale watercolor introduces text and tally marks.
A good day at THE STUDIO after all!
Mixed media on rag board; about 10 inches square.
