At the end of the day
I clean my oil palette
by mixing all the colors together with some solvent/medium.
I roll a brayer over the big messy piece of glass
to even it out.
Then a clean piece of nice paper is laid on top.
Draw on the paper; lift it up: you've got
a monoprint.
The next day I work around the oil "drawing"
using acrylics and watercolors.
There's a little gold leaf in these, too.
These four are in my current exhibition at
WET PAINT GALLERY.
Clockwise from top, left:
"BIG GAME"
"RHINE MAIDENS"
"THE MARTYR"
and
"SWEET DREAMS"
